I taught French at Mumbai Secondary School in Mumbai from 1992 to 2004. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I played music while people worked.
Over the years I had 580 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Kelkar
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
