For 25 years I have been the environmental science teacher at Cairo Academy. I teach Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 800 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ms. Kassem
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Kassem: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
