Ms. Kartika
21 years teaching English literature in Bandung
- 🇮🇩 Bandung, West Java, Indonesia
- Valley View Public School
- 2003 to 2016
- English, Indonesian, Spanish
I taught English literature at Valley View Public School in Bandung from 2003 to 2016. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

If you were in my Grade 6 class, you probably remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.

What gifts mean to Ms. Kartika: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
