Ms. Kariuki
Teacher at Oakwood Girls' School, loves accounting
- 🇹🇿 Mwanza, Mwanza, Tanzania
- 2014 to 2024
- English, Swahili
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and ten years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I learned every name in the first week.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Kariuki
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me accounting in 2016 at Oakwood Girls' School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
