I taught chemistry at St. Anne's Boys' School in Dhaka from 2000 to 2018. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
