I teach English literature at Highland Public School in Istanbul since 2003. Most days I teach teenagers, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 1,270 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
