For 23 years I was the history teacher at Ankara Girls' School. I taught Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I ran the art club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Ms. Kara
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
