For 47 years I have been the mathematics teacher at Sakura Boys' School. I teach teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
