Ms. Kapoor
Spanish and early years teacher, Los Angeles
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Heritage Academy
- 1998 to 2016
- English, Hindi, French
I taught Spanish at Heritage Academy in Los Angeles from 1998 to 2016. Most days I taught teenagers, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Over the years I had 1,010 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Kapoor
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Kapoor: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
