I taught social studies at Meadowbank Primary School in Mukono from 2012 to 2020. Most days I taught first-year students, and I learned every name in the first week.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Kamau
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Kamau: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
