I taught economics at Gateway Public School in San Diego from 1981 to 1997. Most days I taught primary school children, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I answered every email, even at midnight.
More about Ms. Jones
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
