For 17 years I have been the English literature teacher at Victory Grammar School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the homework club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I walk the dog by the river.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

If you were in my mixed-ability classes class, you probably remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
