Ms. Jahan
Home economics and physical education teacher, Lucknow
- 🇮🇳 Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India
- Lucknow Secondary School
- Since 1985
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and 41 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,190 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Jahan
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Ms. Jahan: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
