I taught environmental science at Pretoria High School in Pretoria from 2012 to 2024. Most days I taught first-year students, and I never once raised my voice.
Over the years I had 680 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Ms. Jacobs: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
