I taught home economics at Silverlake Secondary School in Cairo from 2002 to 2015. Most days I taught Year 7, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I answered every email, even at midnight.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
