Ms. Ishii
Physical education and Spanish teacher, Shinjuku
- 🇯🇵 Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan
- Fairview Middle School
- 1994 to 2021
- Japanese
For 27 years I was the physical education teacher at Fairview Middle School. I taught the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Ms. Ishii
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Ishii: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me physical education in 2000 at Fairview Middle School. I still remember that terrible school play. Greetings from Ciudad de México.
