Ms. Ishii

19 years teaching art in Shinjuku

  • 🇯🇵 Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan
  • Shinjuku High School
  • Since 2016
  • Japanese
I teach art and drama at Shinjuku High School, Shinjuku. I answer every email, even at midnight. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Ms. Ishii: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

you taught me art in 2018 at Shinjuku High School. I still remember the long bus ride home.
