Ms. Ikeda
Design and technology and geography teacher, Yokohama
- 🇯🇵 Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan
- 2001 to 2017
- Japanese
For 16 years I was the design and technology teacher at St. Joseph's Public School. I taught Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 750 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Ms. Ikeda
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Ikeda: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
