I teach English literature and French at Our Lady of Peace Grammar School, Bakersfield. My door was open at lunch.
I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Ms. Ibáñez: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
