I teach history at Hồ Chí Minh City Technical College in Hồ Chí Minh City since 2016. Most days I teach Grade 11, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 460 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Huynh
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Huynh: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
