Ms. Holmes
Social studies and Spanish teacher, Las Cruces
- 🇺🇸 Las Cruces, New Mexico, United States
- Las Cruces Boys' School
- Since 1988
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 38 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 2,130 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Ms. Holmes
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Holmes: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
