For 18 years I have been the French teacher at Phoenix Primary School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Holmes
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Holmes: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
