Ms. Holmes

28 years teaching home economics in Cincinnati

🇺🇸 Cincinnati, Ohio, United States
Cincinnati Grammar School
Since 2011
English, French

I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 15 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Over the years I've had 810 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Ms. Holmes

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

Subjects taught

Home economics Drama

What gifts mean to Ms. Holmes: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
