Ms. Hidayat
Retired English literature teacher from Jakarta Public School
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Jakarta Public School
- 2002 to 2025
- English
I taught English literature at Jakarta Public School in Jakarta from 2002 to 2025. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I had 1,130 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Hidayat
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

You taught me English literature in 2009 at Jakarta Public School. I still remember the end-of-term party.
