Ms. Herrera
28 years teaching geography in Cartagena
- 🇨🇴 Cartagena, Bolívar, Colombia
- Baobab Middle School
- 1991 to 2015
- Spanish
I taught geography at Baobab Middle School in Cartagena from 1991 to 2015. Most days I taught first-year students, and I never once raised my voice.
I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Ms. Herrera
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Ms. Herrera: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

I was in your first-year students class in 2006. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Mumbai.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
