For 47 years I have been the economics teacher at San Francisco Grammar School. I teach Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 2,490 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Herrera
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Ms. Herrera: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
