Ms. Herath
Geography and early years teacher, Colombo
- 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Beacon High School
- Since 1997
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 29 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Ms. Herath: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
