For 21 years I was the design and technology teacher at Pune Boys' School. I taught first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Ms. Hegde: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
