Ms. Hegde
37 years teaching geography in Durgapur
- 🇮🇳 Durgapur, West Bengal, India
- Durgapur Public School
- Since 2006
- English, Malayalam
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 20 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I never turn anyone away.
More about Ms. Hegde
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Ms. Hegde: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me geography in 2013 at Durgapur Public School. I still remember the time the class pet escaped.
