For 37 years I have been the history teacher at Birmingham Academy. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

What gifts mean to Ms. Hanson: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me history in 2004 at Birmingham Academy. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Truly.
