I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and twelve years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Ms. Hakim: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me economics in 2017 at Kilimanjaro Secondary School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
