I taught biology at Stonebridge Grammar School in London from 1987 to 2006. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 480 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Guzman
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Guzman: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
