I taught art at Hillcrest Technical College in Tijuana from 2007 to 2020. Most days I taught Year 10, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Outside the classroom I sing in a choir. Inside it, I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Gutiérrez
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Gutiérrez: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
