Ms. Gutiérrez
34 years teaching history in Tallahassee
- 🇺🇸 Tallahassee, Florida, United States
- Lincoln Grammar School
- Since 1978
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and 48 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 2,110 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

You taught me history in 1990 at Lincoln Grammar School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Truly.
