I teach special education at Ribeirão Preto Academy in Ribeirão Preto since 1985. Most days I teach the youngest children, and I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I've had 1,600 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Guimarães
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
