I taught special education at Makassar High School in Makassar from 1998 to 2007. Most days I taught Year 10, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk. Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.

What gifts mean to Ms. Gozali: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
