Ms. González
Music and accounting teacher, Cartagena
- 🇨🇴 Cartagena, Bolívar, Colombia
- Harmony Technical College
- 2006 to 2025
- Spanish
I taught music at Harmony Technical College in Cartagena from 2006 to 2025. Most days I taught primary school children, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 700 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. González
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. González: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
