Ms. Gonçalves

Music and early years teacher, Fortaleza

🇧🇷 Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil
Since 1990
English, Portuguese

I teach music and early years at Ashford Boys' School, Fortaleza. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk. Over the years I've had 1,550 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Ms. Gonçalves

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Gonçalves: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
