I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and 21 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 630 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Ms. Gómez
If you were in my Grade 6 class, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
What gifts mean to Ms. Gómez: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
