La Plata Technical College is my second home. I teach special education there since 1993, mostly mixed-ability classes. I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

What gifts mean to Ms. Gómez: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
