I taught environmental science at Nairobi Grammar School in Nairobi from 1986 to 2001. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I learned every name in the first week.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Ms. Githinji
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Githinji: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
