Ms. Girma
32 years teaching special education in Addis Ababa
- 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
- Stonebridge Academy
- 2003 to 2023
- English, Amharic
I taught special education at Stonebridge Academy in Addis Ababa from 2003 to 2023. Most days I taught Year 7, and I never once raised my voice.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I never once raised my voice.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Ms. Girma
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Girma: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
