I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 16 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I never turned anyone away.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Gill
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Gill: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
