I taught computer science and physical education at Atlas Public School, Laredo. I played music while people worked.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I played music while people worked.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Gilbert
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
