Ms. Gilbert
Computer science and early years teacher, Birmingham
- 🇬🇧 Birmingham, England, United Kingdom
- Since 1990
- English
I teach computer science at Birmingham Boys' School in Birmingham since 1990. Most days I teach the youngest children, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Ms. Gilbert
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Gilbert: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
