I teach special education at Andes Secondary School in Addis Ababa since 2016. Most days I teach Grade 8, and my door is open at lunch.
I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ms. Getu
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me special education in 2025 at Andes Secondary School. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won.

you taught me special education in 2020 at Andes Secondary School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
