Ms. Gebre
Taught social studies at Valley View Technical College
- 🇪🇹 Gondar, Amhara, Ethiopia
- Valley View Technical College
- 1997 to 2016
- English, Amharic
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 19 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I'm always reading two books at once. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Ms. Gebre
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Gebre: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
