For 21 years I have been the music teacher at San Francisco Public School. I teach first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the debate team after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Ms. Garza
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
