I teach special education at Mount Pleasant Primary School in Dallas since 1988. Most days I teach Year 10, and I answer every email, even at midnight.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ms. Gao
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Gao: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
