For 33 years I was the art teacher at Maple Ridge Middle School. I taught teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
